Job summary

England-Thims & Miller, Inc. seeks a Utility Modeling Engineer to support planning, analysis, and design of water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems.

The role emphasizes hydraulic modeling, solving system-wide challenges, and contributing to master utility plans and large infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with hydraulic-grade-line modeling, provide data-driven decisions, and collaborate with project managers and municipal clients to develop reliable models

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in civil, environmental, or related engineering field.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
5+ years of utility engineering and hydraulic modeling experience.
Advanced proficiency with Bentley WaterGEMS and WaterCAD.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and calibrate hydraulic models for water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems.
Perform scenario analyses to evaluate growth, infrastructure improvements, and emergency conditions.
Develop recommendations for system optimization and capital improvement planning.

Skills
