Job summary

The City of Chandler’s Public Works & Utilities Department seeks a skilled Utility Mechanic Senior for our Water Production Remote Facilities. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Ideal candidates will perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs across multiple water facilities, support field sites, and possibly lead projects. A strong customer service mindset and teamwork are essential, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled preventative maintenance and mechanical repair duties at water, wastewater, or reverse osmosis facilities, remote sites, aquifer storage, recharge sites, and reclaim water turnouts.
• May serve as a lead worker and lead projects.
