Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking an experienced Line Clearance Trimmer to join our team servicing Akron, Tallmadge, Ravenna and surrounding areas. The role is full-time hourly, outdoor work with extensive climbing and pruning responsibilities.

You will prune, remove and repair trees for major electric utilities while following safety protocols. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a path for growth within a leading tree care company.

Qualificações

• Love of the outdoors.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Required: valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: CDL-Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement.
• Preferred: line clearance experience or other related tree work.
• Preferred: pesticide licenses/certificates as required by state law.
• Preferred: ISA Arborist/Tree Worker/TCIA Tree Care Safety Professional certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems.
• Perform pruning and removal for utility providers with safety and skill.
• Remove damaged limbs from lines, roofs and objects.
• Identify trees and apply industry pruning guidelines.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws and chippers.
• Work as a crew member with ground crew and foreperson.
