Job summary

Magnolia River is seeking an Inspector to provide field inspection services across the country, with a focus on safety, documentation, and customer communication. You will read construction prints, verify welds and fusions, and ensure adherence to client scope of work.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in the natural gas industry, valid driver’s license, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in outdoor environments. Travel will be extensive.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in the natural gas industry is preferred
• Must read and understand construction prints
• Ability to sketch construction drawings or use software for as-builts
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation during construction
• Adhere to safety standards and reduce safety risk
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Must speak, read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety policies and procedures on job sites
• Review and enforce client scope of work
• Document daily progress and maintain records
• Attend safety, pre-construction, and client meetings
• Perform inspections of welds and fusions and document results
• Coordinate with contractors to resolve on-site issues
• Travel as required for field work
• Provide training to incoming inspectors as needed
