Job summary

Magnolia River is seeking a Natural Gas Inspector to work in the Waco, TX area. This full-time role involves inspecting natural gas distribution systems with year-round work and comprehensive benefits. You will verify line placement, document field data, and ensure safety and quality across projects.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of natural gas experience, a valid driver's license, and hands-on construction knowledge. The position supports growth within a national utility-focused company.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand construction prints.
• Skilled at sketching construction drawings and using software for as-built diagrams.
• 3–5 years of experience in the natural gas industry.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Hands-on construction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the job, route, and traffic flow before start.
• Walk door to door to meet residential customers and document concerns.
• Obtain crew list and confirm Operator Qualification prior to work.
• Document project progress daily in FieldLogIQ.
• Coordinate tie-ins with construction and service departments.
• Verify wall thickness and coating during inspections.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and incidents reported.
• Assist Inspection Manager with training of new inspectors.
