Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read and understand construction prints.
• Must be able to sketch construction drawings and use software for as-built drawings.
• Must maintain accurate project records and documentation during construction.
• Must adhere to safety standards and proactively reduce safety risk.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to rapidly establish credibility and relationships with a broad range of individuals.
• Ability to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the job, construction route, and traffic flow before starting.
• Walk door to door with residents, document concerns, take photos, note damages, and upload to FieldLogIQ.
• Verify contractor qualifications (OQ) prior to work start.
• Document project progress daily in FieldLogIQ and client systems.
• Suggest field adjustments on line placement with client written confirmation.
• Verify wall thickness and coating measurements with welder/corrosion tech.
• Understand BMPs and proper site restoration practices.
• Visually inspect welds and fusions per manufacturer and client procedures.
• Observe pipeline handling and document voltage, coating, and anomalies.
• Coordinate service tie-ins and rebuilds with relevant departments.
• Understand meter placement for relocates/move outs per standards.
• Assist with landscaping/restoration issues as needed.
• Confirm contractor invoices reflect tasks and footage.
• Complete all documentation (OQ lists, reports, as-builts) within deadlines.
• Know city/county paving standards and verify repairs.
