Entergy seeks a Sr Engineer (Utility) to oversee diverse planning, project management, and construction tasks across distribution, substation, and transmission lines. The role involves safety, compliance, and interface with multiple internal teams to deliver projects from 13.8kV to 500kV for internal and external customers.

The position may be domiciled in Metairie, Baton Rouge, or Lafayette, LA, with travel up to 25%.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year program.
• Engineer III: 4+ years of engineering experience.
• Engineer Sr: 6+ years of engineering experience.
• Preferred: power system, relay, or substation experience.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate Distribution, Substation, and Transmission Line Construction projects.
• Prepare construction contracts, schedules, cost tracking, and progress reports.
• Provide engineering field technical support to crews.
• Review Substation, Relay Controls, D-Line, and T-Line design packages.
• Participate in planning sessions with departments and customers.
• Support capital work process, project execution planning, and field inspections.
