Bayer is seeking a Project Manager for the Central Utilities Building, Incinerator, and Wastewater Treatment to lead design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover of critical campus utilities in the Columbus, OH area. The role requires extensive travel initially and potential remote work before full onsite establishment, with eventual relocation support.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant engineering or capital-project experience.
• Demonstrated leadership of major utility, industrial‑treatment, or environmental‑infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of central utility plants, wastewater treatment, incineration, environmental compliance, process safety, and commissioning.
• Proven multidisciplinary leadership, contractor‑management, and cost/schedule management.

Responsabilidades

• Own delivery of the utility and environmental-infrastructure scope from design through start-up and handover.
• Lead design reviews covering operability, maintainability, and safety.
• Coordinate interfaces between central systems, site distribution, and building-level systems.
• Oversee procurement, testing, commissioning, and performance verification.
