Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Principal Project Engineer for Multidisciplinary Engineering and Project Delivery in Columbus, OH. The role oversees engineering and technical delivery of defined buildings and packages on the API/Drug Product campus, with travel to design firms and some remote work until onboarding is complete.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Engineering and 7+ years of capital-project experience, with strong cost/schedule management and fluent English. Relocation is available.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of relevant engineering or capital-project experience.
• Experience delivering multidisciplinary facility or infrastructure packages.
• Fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage scope, budgets, schedules, risks, and changes for assigned packages.
• Coordinate engineering partners and specialists to produce complete designs.
• Review layouts, interfaces, and cross-discipline connections; resolve conflicts.
• Coordinate procurement, construction readiness, commissioning, and turnover activities.
• Track milestones and ensure proper documentation and handover.
