Job summary

Duke Energy in the Carolinas is seeking an Execution PM to drive the delivery of Distribution Substation Optimization and Area Capacity projects across Carolinas West. You will lead cross‑functional teams, manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, and regulatory commitments, and ensure alignment with zone stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience (or equivalent), and may be supported by a Master's or professional credentials in project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree is required.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 9+ years related work experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coordination across internal and external groups delivering the project.
• Manage matrixed team members and interface with functional managers on prioritization, development and conflict resolution.
• Lead project meetings and reports to ensure open communication and proper reporting of status.
• Ensure Project Plan and PMCoE reporting standards are followed.
• Present clear reports to management/governance.
