Job summary

Amgen in Holly Springs, MS is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician - Utilities (Waste Water Treatment) for a day shift. You will provide technical expertise to start up plant utilities and support daily operations on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule (7 AM–7 PM).

The role leads wastewater treatment operations, conducts preventive maintenance, and ensures compliance with discharge permits. You will monitor systems, equipment, and process control, and document activities in the CMMS and logs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 2+ years in water/wastewater operations or maintenance.
• Experience in a cGMP environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor industrial wastewater treatment processes (DAF, equalization, chemical treatment).
• Monitor SCADA/PLC/HMI controls and respond to alarms.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wastewater and utility equipment.
• Maintain logs and compliance documentation; support on-call rotations.
