Weil Group, Inc. seeks a Sr Specialist Tech Engineering to lead and implement optimization strategies for site utilities, HVAC systems, cooling towers, and chilled water distribution. The role emphasizes problem solving and supports design and capital projects within a regulated biotech environment.

You will supervise contractors, align with engineering policies, and act as a technical expert while driving continuous improvement and on-schedule project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with pharmaceutical/biotech processes.
• Specialized industrial chilled water, cooling towers and HVAC systems expertise.
• Familiarity with validation and documentation processes in a highly regulated environment.
• Deviations and CAPA management capabilities.
• Problem solving skills with engineering science for process improvements and troubleshooting.
• Flexibility to work extended shift and/or weekends as per business needs.
• Skills in Negotiation, Persuasion, Collaboration, Project cost development, Conflict Resolution, Leadership, Team building & Schedule and Resources loading development.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and optimize Preventive & Predictive maintenance Plans for HVAC/Chilled Water & Cooling Towers.
• Support maintenance teams on corrective and troubleshooting activities.
• Align with corporate and site engineering policies impacting multiple units.
• Supervise, coordinate and review work of contractors and suppliers.
• Serve as technical expert for chilled water, cooling towers and HVAC; determine methodologies.
• Promote problem solving and continuous improvement culture.
• Collaborate with project managers to meet design, budget and schedule constraints.
• Coordinate consultants and engineering firms on standard design documents.
