Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Utilities & Environmental Systems in Massachusetts to lead maintenance, design, and reliability of plant utilities including HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, and related controls. You will provide technical leadership, oversee projects, and ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher with relevant experience in pharmaceutical/industrial plants.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory standards is preferred.
• Ability to lead, work independently, and manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of CMMS applications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for plant utilities and environmental systems.
• Design and support HVAC/utility systems for pharma facilities.
• Develop design basis and document system design intent.
• Perform airflow, temperature, humidity, and utility load calculations.
• Lead project execution, commissioning, and turnover with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and validation standards.
