Job summary

Pfizer Groton is seeking a technically strong engineering leader responsible for 24x7 delivery of critical maintenance services in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. You will oversee asset lifecycle, lead capital projects, and ensure regulatory compliance while partnering with Manufacturing, Packaging, QA, and EHS teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related)
• 5+ years in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing/packaging
• Leadership experience in a matrix environment
• Experience with cGMP compliance and regulatory readiness
• Experience leading maintenance and engineering operations

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for manufacturing and packaging equipment and systems
• Lead asset lifecycle management from design to obsolescence
• Ensure equipment reliability, uptime and performance targets
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies and CI initiatives
• Lead capital project elements including scope, execution and commissioning
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, and Pfizer Quality standards
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions
• Manage and develop a team of contractors
• Oversee vendor performance and service delivery
• Collaborate with WRDM, Business Ops, Quality and EHS
• Support Lean, Six Sigma and reliability initiatives
• Contribute to digital, automation and smart manufacturing efforts
