Job summary

Dynamic Engineering Consultants, PC in Belmar, NJ is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead civil utilities projects across municipal land development. You will review zoning ordinances, prepare site investigations, design utility systems, and coordinate with clients and consultants to assemble comprehensive site plan applications.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, 4+ years of utilities experience, and an EIT; PE is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
4+ years’ experience in Civil Utilities Engineering.
Engineer-In-Training (EIT) required; PE license preferred.
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.
Familiarity with AutoCAD for site plan production.
Knowledge of hydraulic and stormwater design programs.

Responsibilities

Review municipal zoning and land development ordinances to determine land development limitations.
Prepare Site Investigation and Due Diligence Reports with agency coordination.
Prepare Conceptual Utility Plans and Utility System Design Plans.
Prepare construction cost estimates for projects.
Coordinate with client, consultants, and project team for site plan applications.
Perform pumping system and hydraulics calculations for water/wastewater units.
Prepare technical reports including water and sanitary sewer analyses.
Prepare written correspondence to agencies, clients, and contractors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Lead in a team-oriented environment with strong communication.
