Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a U.S. Project Procurement Leader to build and scale the procurement capability for advanced nuclear plant projects.

This role will establish the operating model, sourcing approach, governance, and cross-functional rhythms needed to deliver on schedules and total project cost. You will lead supplier engagement across major equipment, engineered systems, and construction-related services, manage risk, and drive performance in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a Technical major, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or Finance.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or project purchasing leadership within complex industrial, energy, EPC, power generation, nuclear, or similarly regulated project environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead in a matrix organization and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement execution across multiple U.S. SMR projects, ensuring supplier performance, milestones, and delivery commitments are met.
• Own supplier cost, schedule, and execution performance across major project scopes.
• Build and implement a cohesive procurement approach that integrates full project purchasing requirements.
• Partner with project managers, engineering, construction, quality, legal, finance, operations, and sourcing teams.
• Drive procurement planning, supplier engagement, PO execution, and issue resolution to ensure timely delivery.
