Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a procurement professional in the United States to lead sourcing activities across supplier onboarding, negotiation, and contract management. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to define needs, manage RFQs and POs, and drive on-time delivery while maintaining quality and cost targets.

The role requires a diploma in supply chain or related field and at least 3 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in supply chain management or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure favourable terms and ensure supply continuity.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and risk assessments.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, from RFQ to PO issuance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define procurement needs and timelines.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods/services and resolve supply or quality issues.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, lead times and payment terms to minimize cost and risk.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies and regulations.
• Maintain records of sourcing activities and generate procurement reports; support audit processes and continuous improvement.
