Job summary

Charles Taylor in the United States seeks an experienced accountant to run the Record-to-Report (R2R) operations for US Adjusting entities. You will own accounting processes, ensure accurate ledgers, and deliver timely month-end closes for consolidation.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in accounting/reporting within a large organization, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word. IFRS knowledge is helpful but not essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• 3–5 years of accounting, reporting or auditing experience in a large global organization.
• Strong financial analysis and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Senior financial point of contact for US Adjusting R2R team.
• Ensure timely month-end close and reporting for consolidation.
• Own accounting and local finance operations to keep ledgers accurate.
• Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations and audit readiness.
• Support group consolidation, external and internal audits.
• Assist R2R Regional Leader with ad hoc tasks.
• Promote process improvements and enforce policies.
• Support US inputs into annual group statutory accounts.
