Intuit is seeking a Payroll Manager – US in California to oversee day‑to‑day US payroll operations, governance, and process improvements within the PACE organization. The candidate will drive accurate, compliant payroll with strong audits and customer‑facing service.

Required: 10+ years in payroll operations (7+ in payroll tax), Bachelor’s preferred, CPP preferred; hands‑on with Workday and ADP Globalview; ability to lead through ambiguity, coach teams, and manage vendor systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in payroll operations with 7+ years in payroll and employment tax.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; CPP certification preferred.
• Experience with Workday and ADP Globalview.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead staff ensuring efficient payroll operation.
• Verify compliance with government payroll/tax requirements.
• Lead wage reconciliations and year-end reporting (W‑2s, W‑2Cs).
• Audit payroll data and monitor internal controls.
• Lead audits with SOX and external reviews.
• Coach team members and manage vendor systems.
