Work Location: Florham Park, NJ. Schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days in office. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of US payroll experience, strong knowledge of payroll regulations, and proficiency with HRIS systems such as

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Payroll Practitioner in US payroll.
• Payroll regulatory knowledge (federal, state, local) and wage/hour rules.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., Workday, UKG).
• Payroll certification preferred but not required (FPC or CPP).

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely multi-state payroll for 800+ employees on weekly/biweekly cycles.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
• Review and validate timecards, payroll inputs, and approvals before deadlines.
• Audit payroll reports to identify discrepancies and errors.
• Research and resolve payroll and time/attendance inquiries.
• Maintain confidential payroll records per SOX controls.
