The University of California - San Diego Medical Centers seeks a Sr. Physician Assistant to provide same-day acute care across Express Care locations in California.

You will assess patients, follow standardized guidelines, and collaborate with teams to improve access for primary care patients with both chronic and acute needs. The role requires active California PA licensure, NCCPA certification, and ongoing certifications (BLS/CPR, ACLS, and PALS).

Formación

• Graduate of an ARC-PA approved PA program.
• California PA license in good standing.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• BLS/CPR and ACLS at hire; ART within six months.
• PALS certification due within six months.
• Minimum one year of full-time PA emergency/urgent care experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide same-day acute care across a range of conditions.
• Assess patients and take appropriate clinical actions per scope.
• Follow standardized advanced practice guidelines for quality care.
• Float to all Express Care locations as needed.
