Job summary

Stantec’s North Central & Twin Cities Metro Urban Mobility team is seeking a Project Manager to lead multimodal design projects in Minnesota. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary group and guide projects from concept through delivery, ensuring quality, scope, and budget.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering degree, 8+ years of roadway design experience, and a Minnesota PE registration. You will mentor junior engineers and coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in roadway design with a minimum of 2 years’ project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Develop project management plans and establish project goals and objectives.
• Interface directly with clients and manage aspects of a project to meet contractual obligations, schedule, and budget.
• Provide day-to-day leadership for team members.
• Provide technical engineering analysis and oversight of design concepts and final design construction plan sets.
• Mentor staff to develop each to their full potential.
• Lead client meetings and assist with development of project proposals.
