Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a Sr. Applications Engineer to design ultrapure water systems and lead proposal development for mission-critical applications in North America.

You will own the proposal lifecycle from qualification through design, costing and handover, collaborating with global teams and Sales. The role requires direct experience in high-purity water or semiconductor water infrastructure, with a strong background in mass transfer, fluid dynamics, and inorganic chemistry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical/mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Proven expertise in ultra pure water treatment technologies.
• Strong foundation in mass transfer, fluid dynamics, and inorganic chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer ultrapure water (UPW) systems using mass transfer and fluid dynamics knowledge.
• Lead proposal development, including schedules, resource coordination, and managing vendor/subcontractor relations.
• Create compelling proposal documents and provide technical consultations to Sales and clients.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and other disciplines to develop complete proposal packages.
• Translate complex engineering concepts into clear client communications.
