Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Austin, TX is seeking an UPW-IWT Project Engineer to own the development and execution of utility improvements for the Fab. You will coordinate with external design consultants and general contractors while updating process requirements and procedures.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality utility infrastructure through engineering excellence and structured project management, with responsibilities spanning commissioning, start-ups, and retrofit projects,

Qualifications

• The candidate should hold a B.S. in engineering and have extensive engineering experience.
• Professional engineering licensure is a plus.
• Semiconductor fab experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater and water treatment systems.
• Experience with design and project management in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and execution of system improvements for UPW-IWT.
• Manage external design consultants and general contractors.
• Update process requirements and operating procedures.
• Deliver high-quality utility infrastructure through engineering and project management.
• Lead commissioning, start-ups and retrofit projects.
• Maintain safe work environment for all stakeholders.
• Lead site mechanical specifications and design packages.
• Oversee Construction General Contractor activities.
• Develop and maintain project management systems and processes.

Skills

7+ years of experience in engineering

Working knowledge of water treatment

10+ years in facilities/manufacturing/

Advanced wastewater knowledge

Basic water treatment knowledge

PE license a plus

PMP certification a plus

Education

B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Process or Industrial Engineering
