Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or related field.
• 12+ years of regulatory experience related to legacy or active mine sites.
• Experience supporting remediation, reclamation, and enforcement negotiations.
• Strong understanding of permitting, compliance, and regulatory strategy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as regulatory lead for environmental remediation and reclamation projects at upstream oil and gas sites.
• Advise clients on permitting, compliance strategy, and regulatory risk.
• Lead regulatory reviews, audits, corrective action programs, and closure planning.
• Interface directly with regulatory agencies at county, state, and federal levels.
• Monitor regulatory trends and support proactive client strategy.
• Support proposals, client development, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Mentor and support development of technical staff.
