Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional technical animation experience in video game development, including a shipped AAA title.
• Deep practical knowledge of UE5 animation toolsets and workflows.
• Strong understanding of procedural runtime animation tech like Motion Matching and Cloth.
• Solid grasp of anatomy and traditional animation principles for real-time gameplay.

Responsibilities

• Implement animation assets and systems inside Unreal Engine 5.
• Author and optimize Animation Blueprints and runtime systems.
• Tune Motion Matching and locomotion systems for fluid movement.
• Optimize assets and editor tools for runtime performance and memory efficiency.
• Diagnose animation issues spanning Maya and the game engine.
• Mentor teammates and document tooling and processes.
