Side in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Senior Engine & Graphics Engineer with deep Unreal Engine 5 expertise to push visual fidelity while optimizing performance across platforms. This hands-on, autonomous role requires leading engine, rendering, and graphics work, mentoring peers, and delivering scalable technical solutions.

You will profile CPU/GPU/memory, collaborate with gameplay engineers and art teams, and drive best practices in engine development and low-level systems.

Qualifications

• Seasoned senior/lead/principal engine/graphics programmer with Unreal expertise.
• Strong C++ skills and low-level engine experience.
• Experience across PC/console hardware with performance constraints.
• Ability to work autonomously and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and optimization of core engine, rendering, and graphics systems within Unreal Engine 5.
• Profile, analyse, and resolve CPU, GPU, memory, and platform-specific performance challenges across projects.
• Partner with gameplay engineers, technical artists, and content teams to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
• Own performance and optimisation strategy, establishing best practices and providing technical direction across projects.
• Contribute hands-on to engine-level development, rendering pipelines, graphics features, and low-level systems programming.
• Serve as a senior technical advisor to internal teams and clients.
