Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of Unix experience for AVP level and 5 years for VP level.
• Hands-on experience supporting Unix/Linux in enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience in OS patch engineering, patch catalogue management, testing, certification, and controlled release.
• Knowledge of patch tooling integration and automation across infrastructure platforms.
• Understanding of production, operational, security, and compliance requirements for Unix patching.
• Design, test, and certify Unix OS patching solutions, patch catalogs, and platform enhancements.
• Support Unix OS patch engineering, patch-tool integration, and automation capabilities.
• Validate, test, and release Unix patches to meet production, compliance, security, and operational requirements.
• Maintain patch certification evidence, release docs, implementation procedures, and handover records.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, security, and application teams to resolve dependencies and support reliable patch deployment.
