Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Unix experience for AVP level and 5 years for VP level.
  • Strong hands-on experience supporting Unix/Linux operating systems in enterprise infrastructure environments.
  • OS patch engineering, patch catalogue management, patch testing, certification, validation, and controlled release.
  • Knowledge of patch tooling integration and automation across infrastructure platforms.
  • Understanding of production, operational, security, and compliance requirements for Unix patching.

Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and certify Unix operating-system patching solutions, patch catalogues, and platform enhancements.
  • Support Unix OS patch engineering, patch-tool integration, and automation capabilities across infrastructure platforms.
  • Validate, test, and release Unix patches to meet production, compliance, security, and operational requirements.
  • Maintain patch certification evidence, release documentation, implementation procedures, and operational handover records.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, security, and application teams to resolve dependencies and support reliable patch deployment.
