Mechanics Bank in Red Bluff, CA is seeking a Sr. Universal Banker to join our team on-site.

You will perform full account transactions, open/maintain accounts, process loans, and support the teller line while delivering exceptional service and complying with banking regulations. You will identify sales opportunities, build relationships with retail and business customers, and promote deposit and lending products through approved partners.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required; notary license preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of bank operations and sales experience.

Responsabilités

• Transaction Processing: handles deposit transactions, account openings/closures, and online banking issues.
• Customer Service & Sales: interviews and profiles customers, promotes deposits, treasury management, and lending products.
• Cash Handling & Security: balances cash, monitors for red flags, and adheres to cash handling policies.
• Administrative & Compliance Tasks: ensures compliance with BSA/AML and regulatory programs, completes required training, and participates in branch audits.
