Mechanics Bank is seeking a Sr. Universal Banker to join our on-site team in Concord, NH. You will independently handle new account transactions, assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, and identify sales opportunities for retail banking products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; additional education may be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years bank operations and sales experience.
• Notary License preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as a team member.
• Ability to make decisions and review/approve other employee decisions.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Extensive knowledge of bank deposit products and services.
• Thorough knowledge of the bank's standard loan products.
• Knowledge of small business and consumer credit principles.

Responsibilities

• Open and close customer accounts including checking, savings, money markets, CDs, and IRAs.
• Provide comprehensive deposit services and assist customers with online and mobile banking.
• Promote a full range of deposit, treasury management, and lending products to meet customer needs.
• Process cash handling, ATM balancing, and branch security procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act/AML and internal controls; complete required compliance training.
