Georgia's Own Credit Union seeks an Universal Banker II to deliver exceptional member service and build lasting relationships. You will assist with onboarding, mentoring, and operational guidance while supporting branch productivity and service standards.

The role combines advanced transaction processing, account opening, lending support, and relationship development within a collaborative branch team. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's preferred.
• 3–5 years in a financial branch environment or similar.
• Ability to pass a background check including: credit, drug screen, bondability, and criminal background.
• Ability to communicate with members at all levels.
• Experience with loan applications and internal operating policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service in person, by phone, and online.
• Open consumer and business accounts.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loans, and account maintenance.
• Support lending and deposit growth opportunities.
• Balance records and perform vault/ATM activities.
• Mentor peers and support onboarding.
• Rotate between roles to meet branch needs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
