Unity Technologies in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a new team delivering Unity platform support for a key platform partner, bringing games to TV and mobile form factors. You will work on cross-platform performance, WebGPU/WebAssembly optimization, and editor workflows within a large production codebase.

The role emphasizes stable platforms, scalable features, and collaboration with Unity R&D teams worldwide.

Qualifications

Strong C++ in a large production codebase with memory and threading considerations.
Experience with WebAssembly and Emscripten in the browser.
Understanding of cross-language boundaries and memory marshaling.
Experience profiling CPU/GPU/memory and optimizing accordingly.
Experience designing scalable features in a large multi-threaded codebase.

Responsibilities

Design and develop features and workflows in the Unity Editor to support platform configurations.
Profile and optimize WebGPU/WebAssembly performance, addressing load times and memory management.
Investigate and resolve bug reports to maintain a stable platform.
Promote automated testing and code reviews to ensure quality and delivery.
