Job summary

Unity is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a new team delivering platform support for TV and mobile formats. You will help enable browser-hosted Unity runtimes and cross‑platform workflows, while optimizing performance across WebGPU/WebAssembly and Linux cloud streaming.

You will collaborate with global R&D teams to profile, optimize, and scale features in a large codebase, ensuring stability and high code quality through automated tests and reviews.

Qualifications

• Strong modern C# proficiency with clean, testable code.
• Solid C and JavaScript skills in a large codebase.
• Experience designing scalable features in a large multithreaded codebase.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop features and workflows in the Unity Editor for platform configurations.
• Profile and optimize WebGPU/WebAssembly performance, focusing on load times and memory.
• Investigate and resolve bugs to keep a stable platform.
• Enhance quality through automated tests and thorough code reviews.
