Job summary

Rising Ground seeks a full-time Clinical Supervisor to lead licensed clinicians focused on mental health, substance misuse, and intimate partner violence embedded in child protective work in Brooklyn. This role allows remote work eligibility with required in-person presence at ACS field offices and occasional travel.

The supervisor provides direct clinical services and guidance, oversees training, and supports the CPS team, with opportunities for career growth and collaboration across programs.

Qualifications

• LCSW or Licensed Psychologist required.
• Experience in IPV and/or Substance Use with Mental Health preferred.
• Experience with Evidence Based Models and assessment measures.
• Supervision and management experience required.
• Healing-centered, family-driven, anti-oppressive practice commitment.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, able to manage competing demands.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Program Director to implement a model meeting the complex needs of families in Child Protective Services, including mental health, substance use, and IPV.
• Ensure policies, procedures and program protocols are followed by the clinical team.
• Maintain open communication between ACS, CPS and the clinical team.
• Tailor referrals with the Access and Referral Department to meet families’ needs.
• Ensure warm handoffs occur in referrals.
• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to a team of clinicians.
• Provide direct clinical work and model program expectations for clinicians.
• Foster career growth opportunities for the clinical team.
• Facilitate trainings for the clinical team and the ACS CPS team.
• Participate in internal and external meetings.
• Provide after-hours consultation as needed.
• Other duties as required.
