Fox Corporation is seeking a Senior Union Payroll Associate to manage multifaceted payroll operations for union and non-union freelance staff. You will handle complex wage garnishments and tax setups within CBAs, ensuring accuracy and compliance while coordinating with other teams to meet deadlines.

The role emphasizes process improvement, testing of a new timekeeping system, and delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced media environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on union payroll processing experience.
• Experience interpreting withholding orders for levies, garnishments, child support, etc.
• Experience with automated time and attendance systems.
• Knowledge of FLSA and wage-hour regulations.
• Ability to interpret CBAs for pay and PTO rules.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state, multi-company weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for union and non-union freelance employees.
• Process on-demand payments, retroactive payments, one-time payments, tax adjustments, stop payments, and reversals.
• Set up withholding orders for levies, garnishments and wage assignments.
• Address employee questions on union pay and PTO rules.
• Provide testing support during new timekeeping system implementation and train the team.
• Perform pre-payroll audits of earnings, deductions, benefits, and tax setups.
• Audit and reconcile union-related inputs to ensure accuracy and compliance with CBAs.
• Ensure proper taxation of employee payments including employer-paid union benefits.
• Update SOPs to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
