Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Unified Capabilities Engineer to join a DoD-focused team in Ft. Meade, MD. You will lead UC design, architect secure solutions, and coordinate with government stakeholders to deliver scalable, field-tested UC capabilities on classified networks.

The role requires extensive UC expertise, DoD experience, and a TS clearance with SCI eligibility. Expect a 8-hour workday, Mon–Fri, in a SCIF environment with potential travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• SME in UC design, endpoints, configuration and integration.
• Experience deploying secure UC solutions in DoD environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, DoD credentials preferred.
• CCNP-Collaboration and DoD 8570.01-M baseline certifications required.
• Proven ability to brief senior DoD stakeholders and write technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead UC engineers to develop secure, scalable UC prototype for DoD.
• Define architecture specs and ensure DoD UCR and STIG compliance.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders and network teams.
• Design and implement UC solutions across IP networks and voip/video.
• Produce engineering docs, risk assessments, and status reports.
• Travel up to 20% for field evaluations and deployments.
