Job summary

AXIS Capital in the United States is seeking an Underwriting Service Associate to support underwriting teams with clerical tasks, policy issuance, data input and diary management. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance and efficient processing.

Qualifications

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid mathematical aptitude; proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Good multitasking skills; ability to organize work and perform within time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Prepare policies for policy issuance where applicable.
• Review policies for accuracy and regulatory standards.
• Review policy logs for accurate input.
• Input policy and underwriting data in appropriate systems.
• Process endorsements per request within established Company guidelines.
• Maintain a structured diary system and organize files accordingly.
• Coordinate file pulls and manage diary system to meet timelines.
• Follow up on delinquent data.
• Submission management – where applicable.
• Take on additional duties as required.
