AXIS Capital is seeking an Underwriting Service Associate to support underwriting teams with clerical and office tasks in a hybrid in-office environment. You will prepare policies, input data, and ensure accuracy across systems while maintaining organized diary and file workflows.

The role emphasizes strong communication, numerical aptitude, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The position offers base salary plus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid mathematical aptitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong organization and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with underwriting principles is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare policies for policy issuance where applicable.
• Review policies for accuracy and regulatory standards.
• Review policy logs for accurate input.
• Input policy and underwriting data in appropriate systems.
• Process endorsements per request within established Company guidelines.
• Maintain a structured diary system and organize files.
• Coordinate file pulls and manage diary system to meet timelines.
• Follow up on delinquent data.
• Submission management – where applicable.
