Job summary

AXIS Capital is seeking an Underwriting Service Associate to provide clerical and data-entry support to underwriting teams. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory awareness, and strong collaboration with assistants within assigned units.

The ideal candidate will have solid communication skills, mathematical aptitude, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A hybrid office presence is required, with in-office work three days per week, and duties may expand as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and proficiency with Excel/Word.
• Good computer skills with strong organization and clear written and verbal communication.
• Proven multitasking ability and time management under deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare policies for policy issuance where applicable.
• Review policies for accuracy and regulatory standards.
• Review policy logs for accurate input and data.
• Input policy and underwriting data in appropriate systems.
• Process endorsements per request following company guidelines.
• Maintain structured diary system and file organization.
• Coordinate file pulls and ensure timely information receipt.
• Follow up on delinquent data and manage submissions.
