AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Underwriting Assistant to support the underwriting team with policy processing, issuance for new business and renewals, and endorsement handling. Hybrid work schedule—3 days in office, 2 days remote—based in Chicago, IL or Dallas, TX.

The role emphasizes accurate technical handling, administration, and effective communication with brokers and internal teams to expedite underwriting processes. 2–3 years P&C insurance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Supports underwriting with technical tasks and admin duties.
• Learns to process policies for new business and renewals.
• Ability to respond to broker inquiries and provide status updates.

Responsabilités

• Provides instruction to processing department for new and renewal accounts
• Endorsement processing and handling within the Underwriting Department
• Fulfills broker requests for loss runs, policy copies, and invoicing
• Responds to agent service questions and resolves issues
• Requotes within current systems to adjust credits, debits, or deductibles
• Manages renewal proposals and full renewal process as allowed by authority
• Keeps current with market trends and underwriting demands
• Performs other functionally related duties as assigned
