Job summary

AIG is seeking a UW Support professional in the United States to handle complex accounts, provide guidance to junior staff, and collaborate with regional underwriters on end-to-end processing of new and renewal business. You will evaluate submissions for completeness and help resolve outstanding items with brokers.

The role requires 1-3 years of insurance experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to navigate multiple systems. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is expected.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related insurance experience and/or training.
• Ability to navigate and switch between multiple proprietary, vendor, web-based, and standard computer systems.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Handles the most complex accounts and provides technical guidance to junior staff.
• Collaborates with regional underwriters and senior UW Support on end-to-end processing of new and renewal business.
• Evaluates submissions against criteria to determine completeness and communicates outstanding items to underwriters.
• Identifies and resolves account alerts and blocks during submission to avoid conflicts.
• forwards lines of business for rating per underwriting instructions.
• Trains on underwriting systems and develops proficiency.
• Performs data analytics and prepares documentation for quotes, endorsements, and cancellations within timelines.
• Prepares policy writing instructions for Shared Services and premium billing.
• Manages bureau crits and follows up with brokers on outstanding information.
• Tracks premium bookings and policy issuance to meet LOB metrics.
• Communicates account status to managers to ensure completion of tasks.
