AIG is seeking a Senior Underwriter for National Accounts in Financial Institutions. You will underwrite new and renewal business, negotiate terms, and collaborate with brokers to align risk appetite and value propositions. You’ll mentor junior underwriters and help expand the broker network.

The role emphasizes leadership in delivering customer service excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and responsible risk management from an in-office base in New York.

Qualificações

• Proven underwriting experience, with good knowledge of US Financial Lines business (D&O, EPL, PTL, Cyber, Fidelity).
• Ability to analyze financial statements.
• Strong communication, networking and relationship building skills.
• An interest in mentoring and training if you have not held these duties previously.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite a range of new and renewal business for Financial Institutions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms & conditions with brokers and clients.
• Build and expand broker network; attend broker events.
• Provide guidance and training to less-experienced underwriters.
