Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to lead financial analysis and underwriting activities for PBM pricing strategies. You will support CVS Health and Finance leadership with data-driven pricing to retain and grow pharmacy lives, reporting to the Sr.

Manager of PBM Underwriting. The role emphasizes expert knowledge of PBM economics, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable pricing decisions.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role.
• Strong technical skills in Excel.
• Experience with PBM and Health Plan actuarial concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and develop recommendations to maximize client value while retaining margin in PBM and Enterprise.
• Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on competitive analysis.
• Support underwriting leadership to develop pricing for downstream pricing with segment data.
• Complete tasks in Caremark Underwriting models and modify FAFs as needed.
• Provide ad hoc analyses to support internal and client requests.
• Build and maintain relationships with Sales, Account Management, Caremark and Aetna Finance teams.
