Job summary

Tier4 Group is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives within our client's Protection New Business & Underwriting organization, with a primary focus on Underwriting Platform Modernization.

You will partner with business and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, business rules, configurations, and UAT testing needs, serving as the bridge between Underwriting, Product, and Technology teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting complex technology initiatives.
• Experience with underwriting systems/platforms.
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Document process flows, business rules, and system interdependencies.
• Support UAT planning, execution, and business sign-off.
• Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to prioritize features and enhancements.
• Translate business needs into actionable solutions and process improvements.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to support delivery, testing, and implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement and support change management activities.
