Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• 1+ year in underwriting, credit risk or financial analysis.
• Understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial statement analysis.
• Proficient with Google Sheets and Excel; experience with Hex BI tools.
• Strong analytical rigor and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assess credit quality of Brex business card customers.
• Review bank statements and financial statements to underwrite Brex customers.
• Handle intermediate underwriting escalations.
• Track underwriting metrics and report to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Risk, Sales, Engineering and Product.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to documentation.
