Job summary

The Baldwin Group seeks a Senior Underwriter to lead the life insurance and Asset & Income Protection process, from initial strategy to policy placement and ongoing servicing. You will coordinate with advisors, clients, and carriers to deliver tailored solutions in a high-touch, client-first environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in life insurance underwriting, strong communication, and proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in life insurance underwriting and related risk assessment.
• Life insurance licensed preferred.
• Experience supporting advisors with case design, illustrations, and solution recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of life insurance cases—from illustration through policy placement and post-issue servicing.
• Develop customized insurance solutions and carrier strategies aligned to client needs and long-term goals.
• Coordinate applications with brokerage general agency (BGA) and ensure timely case progression.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant documentation in CRM systems and related tools.
