The Baldwin Group seeks a Senior Client Manager to coordinate carrier relationships and lead the service team on large accounts. You will develop initial placement and renewal strategies and ensure service delivery aligns with client needs.
Ideal candidates will have deep knowledge of the general insurance market, strong client-service skills, and the ability to manage complex risk exposures while mentoring teammates and supporting firm growth.
The Sr. Client Manager assists in the coordination of carrier relationships on behalf of the company by leading the service team on large accounts as assigned, including coordinating key services and developing the initial placement/renewal strategy.
Possesses strong technical knowledge of general insurance market conditions and specific insurance carrier underwriting appetites. Can analyze complex risk exposures, existing insurance coverages and develop appropriate recommendations for clients and prospects. Exhibits excellent client service and problem-solving skills. Possesses intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and the ability to learn any other appropriate insurance company and firm software programs.
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and either has, or is working towards, a professional insurance designation. Must possess at least five years’ experience and demonstrated proficiency in Account Management.
License(s): Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment required Demonstrates effective presentation skills through verbal and written communications. Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with corporate culture.
