Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• CPCU or CIC designation preferred, or equivalent education/experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% within territory and to Home Office as required.
• Strong knowledge of commercial casualty, property, automobile, workers' compensation and umbrella coverages.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and service new accounts within territory with pricing standards.
• Maintain compliance with filings and underwriting guidelines.
• Collaborate with territory team; keep peers informed of activity.
• Develop and implement territory business plan; share accountability with team.
• Train territory staff and clients on underwriting appetite and protocols.
• Within Home Office authority, act as referral point for territory underwriting staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with external clients; travel as needed.
• Provide information and guidance to support staff for coverage requests.
• Collaborate on reports and update databases as required.
• Stay current with market trends and demands.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
