Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and 7–10 years in insurance underwriting preferred.
• Strong relationships with agencies and brokers; ability to influence outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and price new and renewal accounts to drive growth and retention.
• Evaluate agencies to meet profitability and market objectives; refer high-risk cases to management.
• Develop and manage agency relationships through visits and regular contact.
• Monitor production metrics and renewal retention; adjust strategies as needed.
• Coordinate with loss control, claims, auditing, and billing services.
• Provide guidance and training to staff; support team development.
